Booking Calendar
View all bookings at a glance. The calendar shows confirmed reservations, pending requests, external bookings (Airbnb, VRBO), maintenance blocks, and cleaning schedules. Color-coded for easy identification.
Request & Approve Bookings
Unlike free-for-all calendars, with OurSharedPlace, members (and even outsiders, if you'd like) can submit booking requests with notes and details. Administrators then review and approve or decline based on your property's rules and availability. You can have multiple administrators, or a single one. You can grant some members auto-approval and require approval for others. It's flexible to fit your needs, and you'll see tallies and can optionally set quotas to help ensure fairness.
Round-Robin Booking Queue (Optional)
If you'd like, OurSharedPlace helps you run a fair, structured picking round where each participant takes a turn in the pre-configured order you set. Set response windows and nights allowances per member, drag to reorder, and let automatic email reminders keep the queue moving. Skipped turns advance automatically, and the prior round's order can be carried over — as-is, rotated, or reversed — for next season.

Optionally Sync Calendar to Airbnb, VRBO & More
Do you rent your property out on major booking sites? You can prevent double-bookings by syncing your calendar with Airbnb, VRBO, Google Calendar, and Apple Calendar. Export your bookings as an iCal feed that automatically blocks booked dates on rental platforms. Share availability with potential guests via a public calendar link via the iCal standard. (Entirely optional - can be disabled for private properties.)
Optional: Public Booking Page
Give your property its own mini website with a URL like book.oursharedplace.com/lake-tahoe-cabin. Showcase photos, amenities, house rules, and nearby attractions. Visitors can browse availability and submit booking inquiries directly. You control what's shown and which form fields to include. All inquiries are emailed to admins and tracked in the system.
Guest Portal
Your guests can access articles you write with a simple code and/or a coded URL you send them. It's a great place for check-in instructions, wifi codes, things to do in the area, and departure instructions. Create time-limited access codes for guests. Perfect for Airbnb guests, family visitors, or anyone staying at the property. Codes automatically expire after their stay.
